Grouping our classes by age allows each child to explore their imagination to its full. We have a class for everyone. For Babies and Infants we hold Nursery Rhyme Time classes each week. For Pre-school Tots we have Dress up Drama and Disney Musical Theatre. For Primary school ages we run our Shooting Stars and Stage Stars Speech and Drama classes, and for Secondary school ages we run our Inters and Seniors Speech and Drama classes. We are also in the process of setting up our Young Shakespeare Company especially aimed at Junior and Transition year students hoping to re-enact the Bard's most famous works! Stay tuned!
Our Junior Musical Theatre Society is open to students attending speech and drama classes at the Carrick Academy of Speech and Drama and is for ages 8-15. Commencing January 2020!
Children and adults who wish to progress their theatre studies with one of Ireland's most prestigious Speech and Drama bodies - The Royal Irish Academy of Music, have the opportunity through private tuition with Lorna Pia Greene (Licentiate in Speech and Drama - The Royal Irish Academy of Music). Tuition is aimed at those hoping to undertake grade examinations with the RIAM. Family packages available.
